This is the Dapol (ex Kitmaster and Airfix) model of the 9F Loco, built a few years back as it came from the packet.Brush painted with Lifecolor blacks (matt black, burnt black and others) with LifecolorTensocrom Oil which gave the moving parts a greasy look. I was trying to create a ‘Last Days of Steam’ look to depict a tired, worn machine that was still giving good service.
Another WW1 build, A7V from Emhar
Tamiya grey for main colour, gloss varnish then decals (with lots of Mr Softner). Matt varnish to finish then weathering with MIG washes and Humbrol pigments
Nice little kit from Airfix, brush painted with Citadel Mithril Silver and Orange, Tamiya Gloss varnish to follow
