Just finished this one
A quick, fun build inspired by seeing some real M113s at last weeks War & Peace show
Found an Italeri (ex-Esci?) M113M163 Vulcan version in the stash, I added some plastic rod and strip to the turret to make it look busier than the basic plastic parts provided, its not accurate but it looks more the part to me.
A mix of kit and spares box decals were added over Vallejo Model Air Olive Drab and Dark Green, I experimented with various MIG and Humbrol enamel washes (the latter very heavily thinned) with Humbrol weathering powders mixed with both the washes and separately with a decalcotewater mix
Some thin wire adds the finishing touch for the aerials
Off to find some weedkiller now ….
Visited this show yesterday down in Kent (United Kingdom), fantastic collection of military (and some civilian) vehicles and associated things.
Here are a few pictures I took whilst there, hope you enjoy

Always liked the Stalwart since having a toy Corgi one in BP exploration markings as a kid
Built this BW Models white metal version a few years back, its very heavy!
Main paint is Tamiya, cab was a pig to fit and blend in but it looks OK with my other Alvis 6 wheelers (Airfix/JB Saladin and Saracen)

Some builds from a few years back, Armourfast 1/72 ‘quick build’ kits aimed at Wargamers but they make for fun, no-stress, builds in-between more detailed projects.
Tiny build of the ex-JB Models kit to join my small set of 6 wheeled Alvis vehicles
Tamiya acrylic paints, MIG washes and Humbrol Weathering Powders on the tyres
Another WW1 build, A7V from Emhar
Tamiya grey for main colour, gloss varnish then decals (with lots of Mr Softner). Matt varnish to finish then weathering with MIG washes and Humbrol pigments
Quick, fun, build of a ‘found’ Armourfast Panzer III and an Airfix (ex JB Models) Land Rover
Add some sand and a small plastic chocolate box
This is my attempt at this great little kit from Masterbox.
Painted with Lifecolor acrylics, MIG washes and Humbrol pigments.
Base is a piece of scrap wood covered in filler. Barbed wire is my own creation made from 10amp fuse wire
